If you ask around town, which place is a favorite place to eat? The change people sayBar Lokaal is very high. Around for years already and never disappoints, with a famous local dish: their collyflower.

Next to the canal, you will find this bar on a massive green bridge. Known to locals as “de Mapo”. If you are lucky, you can find a spot in the sun and watch who is going through the canal by boat, SUP, canoe, or even swimming.
Bierlokaal de Veste

A speakeasy near the station and close to the Saturday location of the festival. Walk in order to get a drink from the bar. Start a conversation at the bar with a local or sit down at one of the tables so you can check the timetable and plan your route.

Soups & Salads

They just moved to this location a couple of months ago. It used to be a small shop where you would get your soup or salad to go. Now you can sit down inside or outside, but it’s still a fast and easy way to eat some healthy food.
