Polish Focus on PSAS 2025!

For the 2025 edition, Peel Slowly and See is proud to join hands with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute from Poland, a national culture institution aiming to initiate international cultural exchange. From January 1st – June 30th, Poland takes over the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union. Highlighting this moment, Peel Slowly and See is proud to showcase four exceptional Polish musicians on 21-22/03, with the support of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.

Trupa Trupa is a psychedelic post-punk trio from Gdańsk, Poland, blending off-kilter melodies, ominous instrumentation, and lyrical explorations of the darkest side of the human condition.

Polish clarinetist Waclaw Zimpel creates deliciously kraut-in-the-moment improvisations—techno meets jazz. At Peel Slowly and See he joins hand with the celebrated British electronic music pioneer James Holden, who has worked with the biggest names on the planet.

Post-punk quartet Atol Atol Atol, have strong ties to from Wroclaw’s vibrant DIY underground scene. They play angular, overstimulated, rhythmically organized yet freedom-hungry songs.

Zamilska is known for heavy rhythmic bassy sounds. Though her music is associated with techno, it reaches beyond the definition of the genre, with influences from everywhere, world music, noise, and electronica, tribal chants to oriental elements, pensive yet melodic.
